Agreement Protocols
Navigating the complexities of global logistics requires more than just trucks; it demands a clear framework of liability and mutual obligation. We've built these terms to protect our partners and streamline operations.
Operational Standards
How do we define responsibility in a world of ever-shifting cargo?
1. Bill of Lading & Acceptance
At D4 SUPPLY CHAIN CONSULTANT AGENCY, LLC, every shipment is governed by the standard uniform Bill of Lading. When we take possession of your freight, it signifies a transition of custody supervised by our Tier-1 dispatch systems. Don't assume liability shifts until the digital signature is confirmed.
2. Maximum Liability Limits
Our liability is strictly limited to actual loss or damage not exceeding specific thresholds defined by cargo class. For high-value tech components, supplementary insurance is not just recommended; it's essential for full risk mitigation. We aren't responsible for indirect economic losses.
3. Freight Routing & Transit
While we strive for the most efficient path, D4 SUPPLY CHAIN CONSULTANT AGENCY, LLC reserves the right to detour based on real-time port congestion or infrastructure disruptions. We're committed to your deadline, but safety and legal compliance always come before speed.
Claims Window
All cargo claims must be filed within 9 months of delivery. Concealed damage? Report it within 48 hours to ensure a valid investigation track.
Payment Terms
Invoices are Net-15 unless otherwise negotiated. Late payments may result in a lien on future shipments until accounts are settled.
FOB Origin
Seller is responsible until it hits our truck.
FOB Dest.
Responsibility stays until the final dock sign-off.
Hazardous
Strict 10-day pre-approval cycle for all Chem-Logistics.
Need Clarification?
If our legal terminology feels too dense, our dispatchers are ready to explain the operational impact on your specific freight. We believe in transparency at every mile.
